Town and Village Synagogue is a traditional, egalitarian, Conservative congregation -- a vigorous and diverse Community built on our Commitment to Torah (Jewish Learning), Avodah (Prayer) and Chesed (Acts of Kindness).  An energetic mix of people and traditions that reflects our bustling location at the crossroads of the East Village, Lower East Side and Midtown East in Manhattan, we are known for our spirited,  participatory services, warm, accessible clergy and deep commitment to Jewish learning and community service. We are grateful to have evolved as a caring, inclusive, multigenerational congregation whose members, having grown up in all walks of Judaism, have found their way home. T&V offers many ways to participate, make friends, and grow spiritually and intellectually. We invite you to join us.
